Rodney Dangerfield

Number three in my famous comedians series...Rodney.   I did this one quickly, only took about an hour and a half, speed sketch style.  So if you compare this to the Michael J. Fox portrait I just finished you'll see the vast difference 16 hours makes.  Both were done on the same sized paper, using same materials.   For Rodney, I only used HB and 4B pencils.

Growing up I remember watching Rodney's TV specials and routines, funny stuff for a young kid having never heard these same old jokes before.  He also hosted a Young Comedians special on HBO at his club Dangerfield's featuring upcoming talents such as Sam Kinison, Rosanne Barr and Jerry Seinfeld.   Good stuff.
